Cyprus Maritime Golf Event Postponement for 1-2 October 2022

It is with a great deal of regret that we are announcing the rescheduling of the «Cyprus Maritime Golf Event» for 1-2 October 2022.

The complexities of international travel which are constantly being re-evaluated as events develop, pose major challenges and practical restrictions to our international participants, with the distinct possibility that many will not be able to visit Cyprus in June 2021. Without them, the «Cyprus Maritime Golf Event» would not be the same.

We have reached this difficult decision following close consultation with many distinguished members of the shipping community wanting to participate in our event and after assessing the current state of Covid-19 in countries around the world.

The «Cyprus Maritime Golf Event», an initiative of Golfevents18, aims to establish itself as an annual pole of attraction and a solid meeting point for the top executives of the Cypriot and International shipping community, who share the same love and passion for the sport of golf and shipping.  We are concerned that this special environment, is in danger of being undermined due to Covid-19.

We are making these arrangements with optimism, hoping that well before then we will have entered a COVID-free world, with limited travel restrictions.
